BIBLICAL TEACHING

We seek to fully proclaim God's inspired and inerrant Word to direct us in all pertinent matters of belief and behavior.

In order to accomplish this we will corporately exegete and practice biblical hermeneutics so as to accurately and relevantly teach and preach the full counsel of God's Word lovingly and without compromise in a variety of settings, while training individuals of Living Oaks Church to do the same.

DISCIPLE·MAKING

We seek to be a community where each person is called to follow Jesus wholeheartedly and to help others do the same.


In order to accomplish this we will corporately and individually model the disciple-making process, train leaders, and provide intentional relationally authentic environments that foster knowing Christ, being transformed by Christ, and being devoted to the mission of Christ.

INTENTIONAL EVANGELISM

We seek to communicate the Good News of Jesus Christ in word and deed at home and throughout the world.

In order to accomplish this we will corporately model and provide practical evangelism tools, resources, and service opportunities that train, equip, and empower individuals of Living Oaks Church to share the Gospel with others.

We seek to genuinely and authentically delight in God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength while operating in utter dependence upon Him.

In order to accomplish this we will corporately strive for Spirit-led environments that provide accurate perceptions of God's manifold glory that inspire the church to respond through heartfelt biblically based modes of prayer, worship, and expression.

FAITHFUL STEWARDSHIP

We seek as an outflow of our worship to be grateful managers of the resources and opportunities God has graciously entrusted to us to advance His Kingdom .

 

In order to accomplish this we will corporately and individually seek to model and teach how to cultivate and responsibly invest God's resources i.e., time, talents, gifts, and treasures.
